Friday Check In

Time for the check-in and the news is good. I’m down 3 lbs from last week weighing in at 267. A friend at work who is pushing for me is buying me sushi at 264, so I’m just 3 lbs away! I haven’t quite figured out how this whole thing works yet. I had a few week moments this week, but they must have not been too bad. I’m really starting to enjoy some of the snacks that I haven’t previously enjoyed. I had carrots last night for my evening snack and enjoyed them. I’m even getting used to diet soda. I never thought that would happen.

In other news, I’m trying my hand at making my own blog template. I’m not extremely creative or artistically talented, so we may just have to see how it goes. My intention is to make fairy themed blog templates for each season. I’ve started on spring. It probably won’t be done until summer, but feel free to watch as it progresses.

And last but not least, here is the JOTD: What’s the difference between roast beef and pea soup?

Anyone can roast beef. (Tee-hee! Am I the only one that had to take a moment to figure this one out?)

    Wooooo-Hoooo Jeni— good for you! I also LOVE Sushi— going for sushi is always a treat! BTW—Took me about 45 seconds to get the pea soup joke—good one!

    I’m more worried about the people peeing soup…. or even the people who the soup goes to.
