This Miracle of Mine

Yesterday, I felt little Sprout move inside me. For the past several weeks, people have been asking me if I could feel the baby move. I was feeling a lot of different things but it seemed so vague. I just couldn’t tell you for sure that it was the baby.

I laid in bed at night, just concentrating and trying to feel the baby, but no such luck. If I felt something, I just couldn’t guarantee it was anything note worthy.

Then yesterday, while I was sitting at my desk at work, I felt it. It was unmistakable. It almost felt like little sprout did a somersault and tickled my insides all the way around. Sprout did it a couple more times throughout the day and once this morning.

I love it. I love knowing my baby is there, alive and moving. Thank you, God. Thank you so much for blessing us with the most beautiful gift I’ve ever received.

    :clap: How exciting! I remember my pregnant days with great fondness— I wouldn’t trade being a woman for ANYTHING—- what great dignity God has bestowed on us— and what a privilege we have been given to nuture and grow new lives—- tiny souls within our bodies— isn’t it wonderful? I am so happy for you Jeni! I can tell you have fallen madly in love with sprout already— that’s beautiful!

    I agree; definitely one of the greatest miracles on earth; giving birth to a child. I am so excited for you, fl0w3r!! I bet you are just glowing!!! =)
