Crazy night…

I just spent an hour and a half sitting alone in a completely dark building.  I’m not easily spooked, but I felt a little uneasy there.  It’s a new building, and is still doing some settling.  Loud banging noises occurred periodically with no obvious source.  I was there to clean the building.  It’s difficult to do that without light or power.  A vacuum cleaner is surprisingly useless without electricity.  No matter how much you roll it over a rug, the rug never gets cleaner.  Although…  When you can’t see the dirt anyway it doesn’t make a lot of difference, I suppose.  In fact…  Now that I think about it, as far as I know the building was clean when I got there.  So…  Mission accomplished.

Listening to Coast to Coast AM doesn’t make sitting alone in a dark, strange building any more comforting either…

I’m not really complaining.  I just downloaded this Windows Live Writer blogging tool, and I wanted to check it out.  If this post actually gets published, then I have to say it’s pretty keen.

(Update:  It worked.)

Not that way I’d like to spend an evening. That’s for sure. With or without the C2CAM.

The vacuum without electricity realization has got to be one of the most funny things you’ve ever typed! I actually laughed aloud. (That’s the opposite of aquiet.)

Coast to Coast AM… you are such a freak.

We lost an overnight cleaner on Sunday as she was scared about being in the theatre by herself at night. She “knows” that it’s haunted and has demons making noises. I’ve an explanation for every noise she’s talked about, but she wouldn’t have it. Oy!

Yeah… I’ve actually said funnier things, but none suitable for printing on a website my mother reads. 😳

The buildings I clean overnight make some spooky noises if you don’t know what they are, but they’re usually muted by my iPod. Monday night, I didn’t have my earbuds in because I was expecting a call back from someone regarding the power being out. I waited an hour and a half, and no one called. By then the battery in my phone was dying anyway, as I was using it as a flashlight…
