Recipe Save – Honey Sesame Pork Tenderloin

This one of the all time favorites in our house.  Everyone in our house absolutely loves this tender, roasted and flavorful tenderloin.  It is also a fabulous dish to serve for company!

Total Preparation Time: 15 to 30 minutes
Actual Cooking Time: 30-45 minutes
Number of Servings: 4-6

1/2 cup Soy sauce
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbs. Fresh ginger, grated or 1 tsp. dry ginger
1 tbs. Sesame oil
1 lb. Boneless pork tenderloin
1/4 cup Honey
2 tbs. Brown sugar
1/4 cup Sesame seeds


  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large heavy zip lock bag. Place tenderloin in bag and coat with soy mixture. Secure bag tightly. Marinate 2 hours at room temperature, or overnight in refrigerator.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F. Remove pork from marinade and pat dry. Discard marinade.
  3. Mix together honey and brown sugar in a shallow plate.
  4. Place sesame seeds on a separate shallow plate.
  5. Roll pork in honey mixture, coating well. Then roll in sesame seeds.
  6. Place tenderloin in a shallow roasting pan and roast about 25 minutes per 1 lb., until a meat thermometer reads 160°F.
  7. Remove to a serving platter, slice thinly.

Delicious leftovers in sandwiches.
