Recipe Save – Jen’s Easy Quiche

Ingredients (base)

  • 6 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Cream
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg

Ingredients (all optional)

  • Bacon
  • Ground Sausage
  • Ham
  • 1/3 cup Green onions (2 or 3 onions)
  • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1 9 inch uncooked pastry shell
  • Dried parsley
  • Paprika


  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cook bacon, sausage or ham and chop finely. While meat is cooking chop the green onion.
  3. Lightly beat eggs, cream, pepper, salt and nutmeg. Add cheese, bacon and onion (or whatever ingredients you prefer) and mix.
  4. Fill the pastry shell mixture or if you prefer no crust just grease your pie plate and pour directly into the pie plate.
  5. Sprinkle dried parsley and paprika on the top of mixture.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until top is starting to brown and a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Cook’s Notes
The eggs, cream and salt an pepper are the base. Add and remove ingredients to your liking.  Also bake with or without a crust.
