Recipe – Beer & Onion Brats

Easy prep for beer brats.

  • 1 pkg Bratwurst (19.76 oz.)
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 cans Beer
  • Mustard to taste
  • Hoagie Buns


  1. Place brats, onions and beer in pan and heat to boiling.
  2. Cover, turn down heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove the brats and grill on low to medium heat for 10 minutes.
  4. Turn the brats so they are browned on all sides.
  5. Serve on buns with mustard.

Cook’s Notes
I like to drain the beer off the onions and saute them in a little butter and top the brats with some of the delicious onion.
