Recipe – Grilled Jalapeno Stuff Burgers

Origin:  Michele, Mabelle
Total Preparation Time: Less than 15 minutes
Actual Cooking Time: 15 to 30 minutes
Number of Servings: 4

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 12 Pickled jalapeno slices
  • 4 slices Pepperjack cheese
  • 4 Whole wheat buns
  • Condiments of choice

  1. Prepare the grill. While the coals are burning to a white but solid look, prepare the burgers.
  2. Portion the ground beef into 4 sections. Split each section in two and prepare a large, round flat patty out of both sections. Break apart one slice of cheese and place the cheese and 3 jalapeno slices in the center of one patty. Make sure there is room around the edge with no cheese and jalapeno. Top the patty with the other patty and work the edge of the patty closed together.
  3. Repeat for the remaining 3 sections of ground beef.
  4. Grill until meat is thoroughly cooked. Some of the cheese may ooze out of the burger. It only make the burger more delicious as it cooks to the outside of the burger.
  5. Put on the whole wheat bun and add your choice of condiments.
