Recipe Save: Maid Rites

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 onion (minced or pureed)
  • 2 tsp beef bouillon granulars
  • 2 tsp yellow mustard
  • 4 hamburger buns


  1. Brown ground beef
  2. Add onion and sprinkle bouillon over meat.
  3. Add enough water to barely cover meat.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer until water has cooked away (about 30 minutes).
  5. Stir in mustard and serve on hamburger buns.

Cooks Notes:  I like mine with cheez-wiz, mustard and pickles but you can serve with whatever fixin’s you’d like.
