Productivity Rocks!

I was bit by a cleaning/organizing bug this weekend. Together, the hubby and I cleaned and reorganized the entire computer room. You see, the computer tends to be a catch all since the door can easily be closed to hide it from the rest of the world. With our technolust for the latest gadgets and computer equipment and my Avon, there basically wasn’t any space not covered with junk.

I was going crazy. My desk was THE WORST! I suffered from terrible fatigue from day one of my pregnancy. So, while I continued to sell Avon, I wasn’t properly handling any of the reporting or filing. So, all of this crap was just piling up on my desk. It was a cesspool of Avon paperwork, brochures, etc. It got so bad that I had two boxes of Avon paperwork and other junk that spilled over into the Dining Room. I even found a customer payment from FEBRUARY! It was insane and it ended up turning into a huge monster. A monster that I wanted organized, but was just so afraid to touch since it had become such a mess.

Well, I let that cleaning bug get me good. I cleaned out everything. I reorganized my desk. I got almost all of the paperwork filed. All that is left are some changes I’d like to make to my desktop set, reconciling some old Avon statements and keeping it that way. The hubby cleaned and reorganized his desk, plus he cleaned out a cubby hole that had been collecting electronic gadgets, computer part and various other crap for a very long time. It feels so good to have that weight off my shoulders and to know that we were productive over the weekend.

• Store Gabe’s Clothes That Are Too Small
• Store my off season clothes
• Get old clothes ready to go to the shelter
• Clean bathroom shelves and cabinet and box up old products to go to woman’s shelter
